Child Dedication / Parent Commissioning

At Cloverdale Baptist, our aim is to partner with each family as they provide spiritual direction for the children the Lord has blessed them with, and child dedication is part of the journey. We understand our parents to be missionaries in the home, and as such we want to send them into that mission field fully equipped and Child Dedication / Parent Commissioning is a part of this journey. 

Child Dedication / Parent Commissioning is a parents’ affirmation before the gathered church of their intent to lead and spiritually nurture their child to grow, in wisdom, stature and love of our great God!

Child dedication classes are held twice a year with a Child Dedication / Parent Commissioning service to follow.

All parents must attend a Child Dedication/Parent Commissioning class prior to the dedication service. To register for our next Child Dedication/Parent Commissioning class, fill out the form below!
