To God’s Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist Church:
What a joy to see God’s people back in the service. We were full, and it still felt empty. I long for the day that we all can gather again, but until then this is a great next step! I was very encouraged by the reports that have come from God’s people, and it looks like this gathering was a huge success!
If you want to sign up, you can, and remember that the Sanctuary is set up for online ministry, so the sound will not be what you are used to, so if that might be an issue for you, please go to the Gym or Fellowship Hall (we have noticed that in the mix the drums will sound loud live).

Remember if you come one week, please wait until Friday of the next week before you sign up again. We would welcome you at every service joyfully as we want everyone to have a chance to join us live, with the limited space that is available.
Michael Brown was promoted to glory on August 7, he was a pastor here for many years and his impact carries on in the lives that God used him to change. Please pray for the family as they grieve, and give thanks to God for the faithful men that have served at Cloverdale Baptist and the joy of knowing that lives are changed for the glory of God and the good of His bride!
Someone asked me the other day if we are noticing an uptake in impact, or if we some of our regulars are struggling. I think that the answer is mixed a little, as some of the fringe people who attended our church drift a little, and many around the world are tuning in. It is also exciting each week to see our church growing with new people engaging and wanting to be a part of our family!
I rejoice over the number of countries that are watching our services, and especially thankful for Vietnam and the impact we are having there not only through teaching and translating, but also membership books, etc. It is exciting to know that God is using our church around the world. Our tech team sent me a list of countries taking advantage of our online material, and it is extensive and exciting!
I read last week that once we go back to normal, 20% of church attenders will drop out. I don’t believe this to be true about us, but the longer this pandemic carries forward, the more this concerns my heart. SO, please help us to fight this by STAYING CONNECTED, praying with one another, phoning, emailing, texting, even SNAIL MAIL! We long to make sure that no one falls through the cracks, and for us to do this successfully we need everyone pulling in the same direction. DON’T WAIT for someone to reach out to you, or someone you love, choose to be the one who is a BLESSING!
Also, I continue to get reports about our church loving our community, please keep that up, making masks for first responders, buying food for the vulnerable, taking gifts (fresh bread) to those who might be lonely, being a part of LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOUR and MUCH MUCH MORE. Please make it your passion to continue to be a part of being the church and impacting the world. We are called to be in the world, but not of the world, and this takes a discipline for holiness, and a passion for impact!
Reminders:
Elder Led Prayer Meetings continue on Wednesday nights at 7:00. Please join us for a time of gathered prayer in our Fellowship Hall.
Daily Bread are available in the office foyer. If you would like one, please come during office hours and pick one up.
The better you prepare your heart for Sunday, the more impact it can have on your life. Please gather with us, at home, or in the building, and take the time to prepare your heart for what God wants to speak to you, and who God wants to love through you.
Baptism Sunday: We are having a baptism this Sunday, if you have not been baptized as a believer and love Jesus, please contact one of your pastors so we can help you to take this relational step of obedience!
Sunday is Coming
Title: God Will Take Care Of Us
Text: Psalm 121
Take the time to read through this Psalm and get ready to hear from God, and be blessed through our joining together to honour Him in song!
