To God’s Beloved At Cloverdale Baptist Church:
I love family day! A day off to enjoy, and a time where we are called to reflect on family and I hope church family.
Family is where we believe the core of discipleship and community take place. A family is a blessing from God, and a delight to serve and be a part of. All of us have family, although not all of our experiences with family are equally precious.
I treasure the family I grew up in (happy birthday Dave), and am thankful for the teaching and modelling mom and dad gave me. This foundation is one I praise God for and rejoice in. I am thankful for my family of origin!
I love the family that God has given me, and the wife that blesses me every day with joy…which also happens to be her middle name. I am thankful for my boys, daughter in law, and grandchildren. I feel so blessed by my family. I am thankful for my family of choice.

I am thankful for the church family that God has blessed me with. We live in a world that has an overwhelming information flow and an underwhelming call to community. We are the family of God and our unity IN CHRIST and desire to have His mind supersedes all of the other noise as we seek to live in His love, and overflow that love with a love for one another.
In a world that is seeing community destroyed, or divided by politics or social media, we find in Christ a family that is truly a delight. I am thankful for my family of God's choice.
I AM SO GLAD I AM A PART OF THE FAMILY OF GOD, and a part of this family He has called me to serve. Thank you for being a blessing to me and helping me to obey God in this community of love He has placed me.
I AM THANKFUL FOR YOU!
I love family day, and it reminds me of the importance of knowing that not only did God place you in an earthly family, He has made you a part of His eternal family where you can help others to experience His love and grace in the local church.
May we truly celebrate this week and beyond as we rejoice in the richness of His love and grace and choose to renew our commitment to experiencing His love and sharing it in the church family He has placed us in!
Take the time to choose today to be a part of the family of God in name, and in purpose…and serve one another as you instigate the community He desires us to have. You are His choice to serve this family, and for that I am so thankful...in the love and grace He provides.

Missions Trip to the Middle East
At the end of March 2025, Pastor Rob and Lori are going to teach and serve Christians and a few non-Christians from a country that hates those who love Jesus. In the last few months, persecution has been ramping up, and some who were going to the conference are now in jail.
